Latinx Police Academy

The Kent County Sheriff’s Office Latinx Police Academy provides an excellent opportunity for residents who live and or work in Kent County to become familiar with the day-to-day operations of the Sheriff’s Office, as well as gain a greater awareness of the daily challenges faced by its officers.

We strongly believe that a positive relationship between police and the community is essential to achieve our common goals. The Latinx Police Academy helps build that relationship. The Latinx Police Academy is a 6-week program designed to provide a unique glimpse “behind the badge”.
