Animal Shelter

Welcome to the Kent County Animal Shelter!

Donate to the Animal Shelter

We appreciate your support for the animals as they wait for their new families.

The Kent County Animal Shelter (KCAS) is a division of the Kent County Health Department and houses both the shelter itself and the County’s animal control authority.

The shelter provides a safe space for animals in our care, reuniting animals with their owners whenever possible or helping the animals find a new home when needed.

Animal Control is the public safety unit responsible for enforcing applicable animal-related regulations in Kent County.
