We are excited to announce the release of our new mobile app! Available as a free download for Apple and Android devices, this app will serve as the KCSO’s primary communication tool for content like media releases, business watch alerts, messages from school resource officers, and much more!

What does this mean for you? We encourage everyone to download our mobile app as soon as possible, as Community Alerts will no longer be used as of Friday, April 19, 2019. Until then, we will be publishing Community Alerts/media releases on both platforms.

Aside from the ability to access several public safety related tools, you can customize your notifications! We understand that not all information is desirable for all residents, so in partnership with Apex Mobile, we designed an app that gives the user the ability to turn on or off specific group notifications. By default, all notifications except for News Releases are turned off when you first download the app. Simply “follow” specific groups to start receiving notifications, or tap “Leave” at any time if you would like to discontinue receiving them.
