Lost and Found

If you’ve lost a pet, please register the animal on FindingRover.com. This is a free site that asks you to upload your pet’s photo and information. The site will utilize facial recognition software to match with any animals that have been found in the community.

Once you’ve uploaded your pet onto Finding Rover, you’re welcome to email details about your animal to kcas@kentcountymi.gov. Please share the animal’s photo, description, and your contact information in case it is found.

If you believe your pet is at the Shelter, please contact us at 616.632.7300 to schedule an appointment to come get your pet. When you come to pick up your animal, we will ask you for proof of ownership (such as a photo) and a copy of the animal’s current rabies vaccination certificate. Assessed fees must be paid in full and required licensing must be obtained before an animal is released.
