How Can I Help?

We have received countless offers from community members, partners, and stakeholders asking how to support those who may be impacted by COVID-19. Here are two opportunities for you to help our community:

  • Kent County Health Department Blood Drive. In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, many blood drives have been cancelled and regular donors are not donating as often so the need for blood is great. The blood drive is Monday, March 16, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Kent County Health Department. To reserve your time, please click here.
  • Kids’ Food Basket is continuing to provide evening meals and other nutritional services, through several distribution locations as long as it is safe to do so. If you are healthy and able, volunteers are needed. To register to volunteer, please click here. Also, please consider donating to its emergency funds which will go toward nourishing local children. Click here to donate to Kids'First Basket.

We will continue to highlight other community organizations in need of assistance in future updates.
