Is the selected firm expected to translate materials, or does KCHD have a selected translation vendor?
Would every advertisement, including outdoor and social media, have to include copy in both languages on the same ad?
Can you please provide examples of specific cultural sensitivities of which your selected firm should be aware?
Does KCHD have an existing media contracts or relationships for this campaign?
Are there any types of images/videos that should be avoided in the campaign?
How much time does KCHD typically need to review marketing content in order to provide feedback and/or approval?
Does KCHD currently have a website/webpage with information on the dangers of lead exposure?
What are some of the "hidden dangers" in the environments being targeted for this campaign?
Why are 49507, 49504 and 49503 such high-risk zip codes for lead exposure?
Is KCHD partnering with any other organizations to provide information on lead exposure to the targeted areas?
1. Is the selected firm expected to translate materials, or does KCHD have a selected translation vendor?
Answer: The firm is expected to translate materials. KCHD is seeking Spanish first copy in the translation.

2. Would every advertisement, including outdoor and social media, have to include copy in both languages on the same ad?
Answer: KCHD is seeking advertisement that includes both languages on all ads.

3. Can you please provide examples of specific cultural sensitivities of which your selected firm should be aware?
Answer: The question is not applicable for submitting a proposal.

4. Does KCHD have an existing media contracts or relationships for this campaign?
Answer: KCHD does not have existing media contracts for this campaign.

5. Are there any types of images/videos that should be avoided in the campaign?
Answer: KCHD is seeking the guidance of the marketing agency to make the recommendation.

6. How much time does KCHD typically need to review marketing content in order to provide feedback and/or approval?
Answer: Review time is dependent upon volume of work submitted. KCHD estimates approx. 2 weeks to provide feedback/approval on content.

7. Does KCHD currently have a website/webpage with information on the dangers of lead exposure?
Answer: It is recommended the Respondent should research this information in preparation for their response.

8. What are some of the "hidden dangers" in the environments being targeted for this campaign? Answer: Environmental Hazards i.e. but not limited to: lead based paint, soil, water etc.

9. Why are 49507, 49504 and 49503 such high-risk zip codes for lead exposure?
Answer: This answer is addressed in the RFP.

10. Is KCHD partnering with any other organizations to provide information on lead exposure to the targeted areas?
Answer: This answer is addressed in the RFP.

From date of issuance to the award announcement, all communication (questions, comments, speculation, etc.) regarding this solicitation between Kent County and the Respondent or any of their individual members, shall be formal and only with the Kent County Purchasing Division. Formal communication shall include, but not be limited to: (1) general inquiries, (2) pre-submission written questions and answers, (3) site visits, and (4) addendums addressed to contact information provided.

Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests will not be accepted through the inquiries blog. Follow the instructions here to submit a FOIA request.

Kent County reserves the right to publish and respond to an inquiry, respond directly to the inquirer without publishing, or not respond to the inquiry, at its sole discretion. Kent County's decision to respond or not respond to an inquiry shall not be the basis for a protest of award.

Unless otherwise stated in the solicitation, opportunity to submit questions is provided until forty-eight (48) hours (excluding Saturday and Sunday) before Request for Proposal, Request for Information and Invitation for Bid opening times and twenty-four (24) hours (excluding Saturday and Sunday) before Request for Quote and Reverse Auction opening/start times. It is the Respondent's sole responsibility to monitor all inquiries to properly prepare for this solicitation.
