Vendor Question

Hello,

I received notification regarding this RFP. It would be helpful to understand what some of the main issues Kent County is looking to address, what goals leadership would like as part of the initiative, and the demographics of the people that will be potentially participating in the program. In addition, how does leadership view wellness/well-being and the economic benefits of an evidence-based approach? Does your organization see this as an integrated initiative with input from HR, Benefits and leadership? I would also suggest looking at 1. how communications strategies around the health prevention/wellness programs will be developed and implemented (are they culturally specific to your organization) 2. how the baseline will be measured, so you have a starting point and 3. integration with the overall strategy to attract and retain talent, create better employee engagement, and looked at as an enhancement to diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Your organization may already have some quality resources that are underutilized. An initial evaluation of all the resources your organization is providing to support employees and dependents can identify gaps that can be addressed. That should include how benefits and trainings are being communicated.

I look forward to hearing about some of the goals your organization would like to achieve, what you see as the biggest pain points, and how would like to see your wellness programs and initiatives impact your workforce.
The County desires consultants to propose recommendations and best practice solutions in lieu of us specifically addressing the questions posed. We appreciate and welcome your input and expertise. We encourage you to register and attend the non-mandatory pre-submission meeting for open conversation regarding these matters
