County Service & Operations

A majority of Kent County offices are open to the public. All residents must wear a face covering or face mask when entering any County building. We understand some residents have medical conditions that prevent them from wearing face coverings, and we will follow the Governor’s latest order on who is exempt from this requirement.

Online Services

Additionally, residents are asked to adhere to the following safety procedures when entering county facilities:

  • stay home if they are feeling any symptoms of illness or exposed to someone with COVID-19,
  • sanitize their hands upon entering the building with the sanitizer available, and
  • maintain a 6-foot physical distance between others.

Prior to visiting any County facility, residents are encouraged to visit the county’s website or call 616-632-7590 to determine if their service can be fulfilled remotely.
