Employee Recognition For Quality Service
Previously Recognized Employees
2nd Quarter 2012
Lupe Anderson is recognized as the Kent County Quality Service Employee of the 2nd Quarter for helping to fulfill Kent County's mission by providing customers of the Human Resources Department with outstanding quality service. The individuals who nominated Ms. Anderson had this to say:
“Lupe was very helpful in making sure that all seven pages of my application were filled out correctly and completely. She answered every question that I had with care and concern. I would also like to commend your Human Resources Department as a first class operation”.
Number of Years Employed by Kent County: 1.5 years.
The hardest thing I've ever done: To move across the country from California to Michigan. I had no idea what I was in for.
Three people (living or dead) I'd invite to dinner: My 1st grade teacher because she introduced me to burgers and "krinkle-cut fries". Up to that point I only knew about Mexican fare. I was so excited that I went home and asked my mother to make me a hamburger and fries and she had no idea what I was talking about! She only knew how to make rice, beans and tortillas for me! I thought burgers and fries were the best! I would also invite Jeff Koeze, my first supervisor in Michigan, because he used to tease me about being crazy for moving to Michigan. He convinced me that I would not see the sun for five months. I really took him seriously! I thought what have I done? Lastly, Lucille Ball. She and I would have so much fun!
You'd be surprised to learn that: When I lived in California I did commercial property management and would often times run into Michael Jackson, Tom Selleck and several other stars. They are all "just people".
The thing that I like most about working for Kent County is: How all of the employees are all so friendly and kind.
Please join us in congratulating Lupe Anderson for earning Kent County's Employee Recognition for Quality Service Award.
