Arbor Circle
A non-profit organization that provides a variety of counseling services related
to mental health, substance abuse, and family relationships. It provides programs
that teach new behaviors in support of healthy mental development for children and
families with a focus on the family environment.
Area Community Services Employment & Training Council
A non-profit organization that creates opportunities for economic self-sufficiency for low-income, economically disadvantaged,
elderly, disabled, unemployed and underemployed individuals, and dislocated workers.
Bright Beginnings Program
A partnership between Kent ISD and its constituent districts. The program provides services to all families, with children birth to kindergarten entry, throughout Kent County.
Child and Family Resource Council
A non-profit organization that offers a variety of innovative, client-centered programs and services throughout Kent County to provide a comprehensive approach to child abuse and neglect prevention.
Children's Assessment Center
Assessing, supporting, and caring for child victims of suspected sexual assault.
Community Rebuilders
A non-profit organization that rebuilds hope through Housing Opportunities for families and individuals
with Support services during Transitions.
Department of Human Services
An operating agency of the State of Michigan that directs the operations of public assistance
and service programs through a network of over 100 county department of human service offices
around the state.
Disability Advocates of Kent County
A non-profit organization that aspires to achieve equal access and opportunity
for all persons with disabilities through consultation, adaptive equipment, employment,
home modifications, and employment.
Fair Housing Center of West Michigan
A non-profit organization that works cooperatively with governmental and community-based
agencies to further fair housing goals. The FHCWM investigates claims of illegal housing discrimination,
assists claimants in litigation and/or administrative enforcement action, conducts testing to
determine compliance with federal and state laws and provides practical education to rental,
sales and lending professionals, any organization or professional with a role in the housing
industry and home-seekers.
GreenLight West Michigan Development Partnership
Greenlight brings together West Michigan's most logistically strong communities under one goal; build awareness of the region's logistics resources and create a single point of contact for companies looking to invest in West Michigan.
Habitat for Humanity of Kent County
A non-profit organization that builds homes and makes them available to low-income families
at zero percent interest.
Home Repair Services
A non-profit organization that serves and empowers lower-income homeowners by specializing
in post-purchase homeownership services for lower-income homeowners.
Hope Network
A non-profit Christian organization that empowers people with disabilities or disadvantages
to achieve their highest level of independence through providing a continuum of specialized
care for those with brain and spinal cord injuries, mental illness, developmental disabilities,
substance abuse disorders and other disadvantages.
Inner City Christian Federation
A non-profit organization that assists people with homelessness, renting, buying a home,
getting a mortgage, foreclosure, home maintenance, and finances.
Kent County Prevention Coalition
A community coalition that serves as a primary conduit to residents and community leaders, through which they can learn about emerging trends in youth and adult substance abuse as well as gain access to education and training to prevent it.
Kent School Services Network
A partnership of Kent ISD, local foundations, service providers, and the county. It brings health and human services into the school building, working with students and families to increase student achievement.

The Legal Assistance Center (LAC) is designed to help the public solve legal problems.

Senior Meals Program Inc.
A non-profit organization that delivers nutritionally balanced meals to seniors who are homebound
and unable to prepare meals for themselves, offers medical checkups, and operates thirteen
dining centers for seniors.
Senior Neighbors
A non-profit organization that promotes the health and well-being of Kent County's older adults by
providing hundreds of thousands of community service volunteer hours throughout Kent County.
The Rapid
An intergovernmental public agency that provides a variety of public transportation services
for the Grand Rapids metro area and beyond and operates fixed route, demand-response services
for people with disabilities and those living outside the fixed-route service area.
