WIC

WIC Eligibility

To be eligible for WIC you must:
  • Be a pregnant or breastfeeding woman, a new mother (up to 6 months after giving birth) or have an infant or child younger than 5 years of age that is in your care. You may also be eligible if you’ve had a miscarriage within the last 6 months
  • Meet nutritional or medical risk guidelines. This can inlcude anemia, being over or under weight, an underlying chronic disease, pregnancy, inadequate growth or inadequate diet
  • Live in Michigan
  • Meet income guidelines (see below)
