Walking Into Wellness
Walking Into Wellness is a fun, pedometer based fitness
program that gives you all the tools you need to plan and track daily walking
habits while learning more about physical activity, nutrition and stress management.
Unlike many short-term exercise plans, Walking Into Wellness is a way to help
you build consistency in your exercise routine by making more steps a permanent
part of your healthy lifestyle. This program is designed to be challenging
for both beginner and advanced walkers by allowing each individual to choose
a reasonable starting goal with the intent of increasing it each week. This
unique fitness program can be implemented in a worksite setting or can be
coordinated for a variety of community groups.
