Kent County Park News

The Kent County Parks is currently working on the development improvements in several of the parks. The following improvements are planned.

• Playground improvements will be made at Douglas Walker Park, Johnson Park, Fallasburg Park, Dwight Lydell Park, and Long Lake Park.
• At Millennium Park, all purpose trails and nature trails will be developed.
• A new irrigation system is being installed at L.E. Kaufman Golf Course.
• Paving of the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail from 60th Street to 100th Street.

Other smaller projects are also planned throughout the county to improve access, aid wildlife habitat, and create stronger community.
