Fred Meijer M-6 Trail

logo

The M-6 Trail stretches across southern Kent County, linking Kent Trails in the west to the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail in the east.  Most of the route is a dedicated paved pathway, though the center segment follows sidewalks between Division Ave. and Clyde Park Ave.

Passing through rapidly developing communities along the M-6 highway, the trail provides direct access to Kent County’s Creekside Park, Byron Township’s Cutler Park and the East Kentwood Public Schools complex. By following connections to the west on Kent Trails, trail users can reach Douglas Walker Park, Millennium Park and the John Ball Zoo. Continuing to the east along the Thornapple Trail, trail users will reach Paris Park and Caledonia Lakeside Park.

The map below shows the complete trail route, and identifies public parking areas near the trail. To see more of an overview of how the Fred Meijer M-6 Trail connects to other trails and parks, please return to our Community Trails page.
