A scenic drive winds through a large section of Johnson Park. The rolling hills and winding turns make this a challenging walk. Johnson Park also maintains a boat launch onto the Grand River.

Park activities and facilities include: ball diamonds, biking, exercise equipment, fishing, disc golf course, hiking/walking, picnicking, playgrounds, enclosed shelterhouse, restrooms, open shelterhouse, and winter sports.
