Kent County Parks Foundation
The Parks Department is responsible for managing 37 county parks; including L.E. Kaufman Golf Course, Wabasis Lake Campground and Kent Trails.
| Kent Trails Construction Update
*Updated: 10-2-2009* Kent Trails' new pavement is now complete. ADA Detectable Warning Strips are currently being installed at all street crossings. These areas are roped off with caution tape and orange construction barrels. When the caution tape and barrels are removed, the crossings will be safe for use. Parking is still unavailable at 84th street. We are in the process of creating additional parking spaces and making the area more user friendly. Please respect the “trail closed” and “construction” signs when they are in place. Updates (as needed) will be posted by 5 p.m. every Friday as reconstruction continues. |
Reservations for County Park facilities can now be made up to one year in advance. For reservations, please call (616) 336-PARK, or reserve online at Parks Reservation System.
