| A highlight and favorite destination in Millennium Park is the six-acre sand beach and its large splashpad. Though admission is free to the rest of the park, there is an admission fee to use the beach area. | |

| The VanAndel Beach House (top right) features a concession stand, locker and changing rooms, restrooms and picnic tables on the plaza. Kids can be kids at the Mehney Splashpad! More than a dozen sprayers, buckets, splashers and other water features spell (or spill?) fun for all ages, from toddlers on up. | |
