Special Events
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office offers special event services to businesses, organizations, or persons who are in need of a police presence for traffic control, traffic enforcement, or security.
Services are offered on a fee basis of $55.00 an hour per deputy, including a patrol cruiser. There is a minimum two hour charge for services.
To schedule a deputy or deputies for a Special Event, please click here. The Special Event Form must be completed in full; and emailed to specialevents@kentcountymi.gov You may attach local government permits, maps or any other information regarding your event with this form.
Once we receive your request for service, the Kent County Sheriff’s Office will contact you during business hours Monday through Friday.
